On Friday, 7th June, at 8:30 p.m., at the Sa Màniga Auditorium in Cala Millor, the Jack Van Poll Trio (Holland) offers a JAZZ SOLIDARITY CONCERT, to raise funds for Estel de Llevant mental health association.

Jack Van Poll is a Dutch pianist and composer who has played jazz with some of the best artists such as Dizzie Gillespie, Lionel Hampton and Dee Bridgewater. At the 70s, Jack van Poll opened the September Jazz Club in the Belgian city of Antwerp and in 1984 he created the September Jazz Records.

His style is based on bebop, although with a touch of blues and a good portion of swing. He has performed at prestigious festivals around the world and now comes to Cala Millor in his trio format, along with Fernando Calvo (bass) and Marino Strukely (drums).

Tickets only cost € 10 and go straight to the Estel de Llevant Association. Small actions transform the world!
