José Huertas Flamenco Ballet (Valencia)

Tickets: 12 €

The José Huertas Flamenco Ballet arrives on stage this time with Don Quixote, a work premiered in 2019, with the music of Ludwig Minkus and Diego Losada. Thirteen interpreters will dance, then, the life of this Knight, just as the people dance: celebrating, laughing and singing the desired path. Spanish/flamenco dance defines this Don Quixote, in which the style of the great master of Spanish dance Antonio Gades is very present.

José Huertas has been part of the Rafael Aguilar Spanish Ballet, has been Guest Artist of the National Ballet of Spain, and at the age of twenty-four he joined the company of Antonio Gades, with which he debuted at the Opera Carlo Felice (Italy) and of which years later he became the first dancer.

Currently he runs his own company with the aim of offering the public a modern vision of flamenco. His shows can be seen at different Spanish and European theatres.
