Ferran Pizà (sa Pobla, 1955) has more than thirty-five years’ experience as a plastic artist and is one of the exponents of Povera art in Majorca.
He was only sixteen years old when he travelled to Paris, where he decided to study painting.
Some of the materials used in his works include sand, wood, stones, oil or cardboard.
This exhibition, consisting of sixteen works, is a tour of the most emblematic places of the municipality of Sant Llorenç (the castle of Punta de n'Amer, the old drinking trough –known as the Pou Vell-, the En Bou mill, the railway station, the prehistoric stone towers known as talaiots, the church ...). These are works that visitors can touch - with care, of course - and that depict the spaces which are closest to the lives of the municipality’s citizens.
